It is a rackmount version of the Nord 4 Lead Virtual Analog Synthesizer, without the keyboard
The device utilizes a 2x oversampled subtractive synthesis sound engine with two oscillators per voice and generates saw, square, sine, triangle, pulse, and PWM waveforms
The first oscillator offers eight different wavetypes and the second oscillator includes a noise generator, resonance control, and filter cut off
Using the true voice unison mode, you can layer up to four voices on top of one another to build complex sounds
Hard and soft synchronization controls can be used to link the two oscillators to create rich harmonics
The synthesizer includes two flexible LFO sections per slot which can be synchronized to the master clock and assigned individual time divisions
A variety of LFO shapes including pulse, saw, and sine makes it easy to create pulsing atmospheric pads and wobbling bass lines
The LFOs can be retriggered by a key or an Impulse Morph button and can be used to modulate the FX section of the synthesizer
